A Girl and a Tree tells a story of an immortal love between two girls, Vera and Marusha, separated by destiny when they were schoolgirls in a little village and are brought together unexpectedly in the old age. It discovers the immenseness of child’s life, the energy and purity of early sentiments, the strength and depth of human bondage and also the bondage between human being and nature. It tells about women’s life, about the essence that remains in human being facing the end of life, about passing away and returning, about last walk, with death. A Girl and a Tree is a view on human life from the hills of old age, still full of life and heart.
