Hands are holding the page of a magazine between their fingers. A publicity photograph covers this page. The fingers are patiently going to knead the page until the dust of pigments, which the image has turned into, has entirely freed up the page. Once this task is accomplished, the fingers are then going to help the still crinkled page find its flat extension, its surface available again. Actions in all modesty, as always in Ismaïl Bahri, knowing how to combine silent revolt and marvel of care. (JPR)
