Freeing captive animals
Patches of light in the night, little bright spots in the darkness of the screen let us catch a glimpse of a boat, a fisherman or a bird. The music spreads out, just like the horizon or the surface of the water. These scarce clues hardly unveil the banks of lake Longshuihu. The huge rock into which the three Chinese characters of the title are engraved won’t appear. The red words and the action they refer to disappear into the greyish contrast of the night. An unexpected phone call suddenly emerges.
