Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes
The Blue Note Records label launched the most famous jazz musicians of the 20th century. The film recounts this story and weaves a thread between these artists and the current hip-hop figures. The necessary enumeration embodied by the key players in this adventure is broken, during a recording session, by a man who mostly remains silent, Wayne Shorter, a duettist with Miles Davis and a soloist with Weather Report, who performs Masqualero, an hypothetical pacified idiom between the different communities in the U.S.
