FIDMarseille makes a stopover in Paris this summer! From July 5 to 8, 6 films from the 35th edition of the festival will be shown again at the Cinémathèque française.
The program opens on Friday with the film 7 Walks With Mark Brown by Pierre Creton and Vincent Barré, and continues over the weekend with three screenings focusing on the work of Adirley Queirós and Joana Pimenta, a Luso-Brazilian duo of politically engaged directors to whom FIDMarseille is dedicating this year’s first retrospective outside Brazil. The resumption of FIDMarseille at the Cinémathèque française closes on Monday with Camilo Restrepo’s Room of Shadows and Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich’s La Ballade de Suzanne Césaire.
