This film is divided into four chapters, each one exploring a different way to address and listen to people.
1.The telephone as a way to postpone dialogue.
2. Talking to animals, who see and hear everything without saying a word.
3. The sound: blind phone calls; on screen: the world as it goes.
4. A patchy autobiography. In the end, the film is a strange and farcical meditation on what we say and how we should listen. (JPR)
