Les choses et les mots de Mudimbe consists of an biographical interview of Valentin Yves Mudimbe, born in 1941 in today’s Democratic Republic of Congo. Philosopher and philologist by training, has contributed to history, as well as to anthropology, in the spirit of what Enrique Dussel qualifi es as “transmodernism”, a deconstruction of Western (post)modernism and the opening up of spaces for other stories, other altern(arr)atives.
