Zad Moultaka is a composer. After an international career as a pianist, he wishes to confront the Easter and Western musical traditions, somewhere between written and oral transmission, by composing Anashid, based on The Song of Songs. Re-enacting a car ride he took ten years ago, Zad Moultaka explains how the interpretation of the text of his composition turned out to be particularly tricky in this region. This single-take road movie is far more than a virtuoso piece.
