Industrial Work

Gerardo Naumann

Two men work on an assembly-line. They repeat the same automatic gestures for hours. Does it have an impact on their private lives, on their conscience, or not? How does one move after spending hours on an assembly-line? Is it possible to alter, however marginally, the rhythm of movements in order, for instance, to get acquainted with somebody else’s discourse? Nine condensed minutes are all it takes for Gerardo Namann to ask himself and us those fascinating questions.
