Stéphane Sinde set up his camera in the home of Salah Stétié, born in Lebanon in 1929. The poet remains evasive about his long career as a diplomat but he invites the camera into his garden where he delivers an interpretation of the vibrations emitted by the trees and the lake. As we watch him look down in search of the most accurate expression, we understand that his life has been mostly dedicated to his constant watchfulness for words. (VP)
