FÉTICHE 33-12

Ladislas et Irène Starewitch

With a great sorrow weighing on his heart, we present Fétiche, the little soft toy dog who comes to life. Moved by a mother’s sadness, he does everything he can – to even crossing paths with the devil – to bring back an orange to her young, sick daughter. One of the pioneers of film animation, Ladislas Starewitch created in his films a world of poetry, humour and humanism. Fétiche 33-12 is the original version of Fétiche conceived by Ladislas and Irène Starewitch before being subject to cuts from distributors.
