Near Barrow-in-Furness in England, a scattering of houses and beach huts in the sand dunes. A community living outside the margins, swept by the ocean wind that comes to die in the industrial estate. Nick Jordan and Jacob Cartwright deliver a study of this area whose construction came as a response to the region’s urbanisation and successive financial crises, set against the fantasy of an Arcadia for all.
