ALL WE EVER SEE OF STARS

Isabelle Cornaro

Isabelle Cornaro’s work aims at operating a shift in our perceptual certainties. Here, she brings together in a slide show the science fiction universe of Alan Moore’s comic-book series Watchmen and some photographs of Las Vegas, a model of superficiality and kitsch. The text inhabits images which give prominence to vernacular aesthetics, and creates a both fluctuating and disturbing connection. (NF)
