Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese
In a village in Lesotho, Mantoa, an 80-yearold woman, winds up her final ties to the world and begins to prepare carefully for her funeral. But when she learns that the villagers are threatened with displacement due to the imminent construction of a water reservoir on their sacred burial ground, she finds a new reason to live, and embarks on a defence of the community’s spiritual heritage. A film with a rare political breath.
