Uzec, Baptiste and Léo hang out together in Douarnenez. Each endless “couch potato” afternoon and conversation is indistinguishable from the one before, fuelled by cheap drink and sexual frustration. But the carnival is coming to town, as it does every year, and phone screens and videos show what their arguments try to repress: the absence of Jordan, the best friend who died during last year’s festival, leaving a gaping hole and the burning desire to bring him back.
