An essay filmed from 2009 to 2014 by members of the Occasional and Insecure Workers Association of the Île-de-France region, in premises which have since been torn down. Inspired by Faulkner, the story in all its contemporary violence echoes the demolition around the characters. In black and white 16mm frames akin to films by the Zanzibar group, the precarious workers express their suffering to the sound of the high-speed train service eating away at the city.
