After the Pope’s death, the Conclave meets to elect his successor. Several votes are needed before the white smoke rises. At last, a cardinal is elected! But the faithful massed in Saint-Pierre Square wait in vain for the appearance on the balcony of the new sovereign pontiff. The latter does not seem ready to bear the weight of such a responsibility. Anxiety? Depression? Fear of not feeling up to it? The whole world is soon in the grip of anxiety while the Vatican is looking for solutions to overcome the crisis.
