ONE, TWO, MANY – a book collection

FIDMarseille is launching a collection of books dedicated to the filmmakers and artists featured in the retrospectives and homages.

Following both spirit and energy of a festival, these are lively, collective books that welcome multiple forms and styles of writing – critical essays, documents, writings by the filmmakers themselves and, above all, their words.

One, Two, Many, the title of the collection, is first and foremost that of a film by Manon de Boer, presented at FIDMarseille in 2012.

Co-published with Les Éditions de l’Oeil.

2023

From his first film in 1961, Les Petits Drames (lost), to the ultimate Bonjour la langue (2022), Paul Vecchiali has built up a ‘bigger than life’ body of work that makes him one of France’s great filmmakers.
