Renaud Victor Jury
With the agreement and support of the Interregional Directorate of Prison Services PACA–Corsica, the Marseille Prison Centre, and the CNC, the association Lieux Fictifs and FIDMarseille jointly carry out an initiative to bring the festival event into the Marseille Les Baumettes prison, in real time with the rest of the festival. A selection of around ten competition films is presented to an audience of incarcerated and voluntary participants. Those who have followed the entire programme may, if they wish, become members of the jury and take part in selecting the award winner. Each film is introduced and discussed with the help of FID team members and the filmmakers themselves.
High School Award Jury
Established in 2015, the Highschool Jury is part of a film education initiative aimed at secondary school students. Sixteen pupils, from the Aix-Marseille Academy and beyond, participate in the festival as jurors and award the High School Award during the closing ceremony.
Second Chance School Jury
Made up of interns from the École de la 2e Chance, this jury awards the École de la 2e Chance Award, in partnership with the Ville de Marseille.
