Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases of tickets, passes and accreditations for screenings, meetings and events of the 2026 edition of FIDMarseille – Festival International de Cinéma de Marseille, purchased from the FIDMarseille box office online or at the counters located at the Artplexe Canebière cinema and the Cinéma Les Variétés during the festival period (7 to 12 July 2026). The purchase of a ticket or accreditation implies the buyer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. FIDMarseille reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time within the limits provided by law. Certain categories of audience members (professionals, groups, partners or educational institutions) may benefit from specific conditions available from the festival box office.

RÉSERVATIONS

Conformément à l’article L.221-28 du Code de la consommation, les billets pour des projections ou événements du festival ne font pas l’objet d’un droit de rétractation.

Toute commande est donc ferme et définitive.

Les billets ne sont ni repris ni remboursés sauf dans les cas mentionnés à l’article 4.

La billetterie du FIDMarseille ne garantit pas la disponibilité de toutes les séances ou catégories de billets sur l’ensemble des canaux de vente.

Les prix sont facturés sur la base des tarifs en vigueur au moment de la commande. Le FIDMarseille se réserve le droit de modifier ses tarifs à tout moment sans effet sur les commandes déjà réglées.

La réservation peut être limitée à un nombre maximal de billets par séance afin de permettre au plus grand nombre d’accéder aux projections.

Dans le cadre d’un achat en ligne, une confirmation de commande est envoyée par e-mail. En cas de non-réception, l’acheteur est invité à contacter la billetterie du festival.

Les billets peuvent être délivrés : sous forme de e-billets téléchargeables, au guichet du festival.

En cas de perte d’un billet, un duplicata pourra être édité au guichet du festival sur présentation d’une pièce d’identité et du justificatif d’achat, dans la limite des possibilités techniques.

BILLETS, PASS FESTIVAL, ACCRÉDITATIONS ET TARIFS RÉDUITS

Le FIDMarseille propose différentes formules :

Les conditions d’utilisation de ces titres sont précisées au moment de l’achat.

Les billets ou titres à tarif réduit (étudiants, demandeurs d’emploi, etc.) peuvent être soumis à la présentation d’un justificatif valide à l’entrée des salles.

En l’absence de justificatif, l’accès pourra être refusé sans remboursement.

ÉCHANGES

Dans la mesure des places disponibles, un billet pourra être échangé pour une autre séance du festival jusqu’à 24 heures avant la séance initiale.

Les échanges doivent être effectués auprès de la billetterie du festival, située dans les cinémas Artplexe Canebière et Les Variétés.

Les billets émis dans le cadre d’offres partenaires ne sont pas échangeables.

REVENTE DES BILLETS À L’UNITÉ ou associés à des PASS et des ACCRÉDITATIONS

La revente d’un billet à un prix supérieur à celui figurant sur le billet est strictement interdite conformément à la législation en vigueur.

Les Pass et Accréditations étant strictement personnels, les billets associés à ces titres ne peuvent être ni cédés ni revendus à une tierce personne.

RESERVATIONS

In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, tickets for festival screenings or events are not subject to a right of withdrawal. All orders are therefore firm and final. Tickets are neither taken back nor refunded except in the cases mentioned in article 4. The FIDMarseille box office does not guarantee the availability of all screenings or ticket categories across all sales channels. Prices are charged based on the rates in effect at the time of the order. FIDMarseille reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without effect on orders already paid. Reservations may be limited to a maximum number of tickets per screening in order to allow as many people as possible to attend. In the case of an online purchase, an order confirmation is sent by email. If not received, the buyer is invited to contact the festival box office. Tickets may be issued: as downloadable e-tickets, or at the festival box office. In the event of a lost ticket, a duplicate may be issued at the festival box office upon presentation of a valid ID and proof of purchase, subject to technical feasibility.

TICKETS, FESTIVAL PASSES, ACCREDITATIONS AND REDUCED RATES

FIDMarseille offers various options:

The terms of use of these tickets are specified at the time of purchase. Tickets or passes at a reduced rate (students, job seekers, etc.) may require the presentation of valid supporting documentation at the venue entrance. In the absence of such documentation, entry may be refused without refund.

EXCHANGES

Subject to availability, a ticket may be exchanged for another festival screening up to 24 hours before the original screening. Exchanges must be made at the festival box office, located at the Artplexe Canebière and Les Variétés cinemas. Tickets issued as part of partner offers are not exchangeable.

RESALE OF SINGLE TICKETS OR TICKETS ASSOCIATED WITH PASSES AND ACCREDITATIONS

The resale of a ticket at a price higher than that shown on the ticket is strictly prohibited in accordance with applicable legislation. As Passes and Accreditations are strictly personal, tickets associated with these passes may not be transferred or resold to a third party.

The festival takes place across several cinemas and partner venues in Marseille. Audience members are invited to check the date, time and exact location of their screening. Access to screenings is permitted only upon presentation of a valid ticket. Each ticket entitles the holder to a single entry for the corresponding screening. Arriving early is recommended in order to facilitate access checks. Screenings begin at the indicated time. Latecomers may be refused entry so as not to disturb the projection. Audience members agree to show respect towards:

festival and partner venue staff - guests and speakers - other audience members.

RECORDING AND IMAGE RIGHTS

Photographs and audiovisual recordings may be taken during certain screenings or events. By attending the festival, audience members accept that they may be photographed or filmed as part of FIDMarseille’s communications.

RECORDING

Filming, recording or photographing screenings is strictly prohibited. Films presented at the festival may be subject to strict broadcasting rights. Any recording constitutes a violation of copyright.

The festival programme may be modified for artistic, technical or other reasons beyond the organisation’s control. FIDMarseille reserves the right to:
- modify screening times or venues
- replace a film
- cancel a screening in the event of a technical or logistical issue.

In the event of a screening cancellation, audience members may obtain: either a refund of the ticket, or an exchange for another screening, according to the terms indicated by the box office. No additional expenses (transport, accommodation, etc.) will be reimbursed.

As part of the Vigipirate security plan, security measures may be implemented at festival venues. Audience members may be subject to: - visual inspection of bags - metal detector screening.

Large luggage is not permitted inside the venues.

The festival reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the security instructions.

Ticket sales for FIDMarseille are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to these general terms and conditions of sale will, in the absence of an amicable resolution, fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
