In Porto, the legend of Henriqueta, a defiant courtesan, spans across time. In 1867, after the death of her companion Teresa, she severed her head and kept it with her, in an act of love and transgression. Through archives, oral accounts, and contemporary testimonies, four women of today retrace her tragic and scandalous story, while intimate visions extend its resonance.
