Léo Richard was born in Nantes in 1992 and grew up there. On the movie sets, he tried several jobs; he was an extra, a stage manager, he produced, acted, and then worked as a first assistant on feature films by HPG and Hubert Viel. He studied directing at Paris VIII and editing at the Fémis. Thanks to his comrades of the Collectif Comet, he directed a first film, Le voleur de Lisbonne, selected at FIDMarseille and at Entrevues Belfort in 2016. Other collectives, other films followed: Le Passant intégral in 2017, then Les idées s’améliorent in 2018, also shown in Marseille, Belfort, New York, Lisbon, Goiânia… Today, Léo Richard writes and dabbles with different things between Marseille and Tarn-et-Garonne. He edits films by Olivier Derousseau, Ilias El Faris, Mathilde Girard, Maxime Martinot, Camille Polet, Mario Valero or Yolande Zauberman.
