After a Master’s degree in Art History from Sorbonne, Janja Kralj started working in cinema in 2006. In 2010 she created the production company KinoElektron, with a commitment for international cinema and a close collaboration between producers and directors as its core values. She works with confirmed directors like Sharunas Bartas, Raphael Nadjari, Bani Khoshnoudi, Ognjen Svilicic or Ben Russell as well as emerging filmmakers like Vladimir Perisic, Ali Cherri, Una Gunjak or Miki Polonski. KinoElektron defends a vision of free cinema, without any borders or categorizations. Its productions have been selected at festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno and others.
