My brother and I are the sons of a « pied noir » mother. Alice, a friend, is the granddaughter of a harki. None of us ever went to Algeria. In France, I film them while they imagine this other place, their expectations. Then I confront this fantasy to a real Algeria, and I confront myself with the difficulty of filming.
