Alina Kleytman
Alina Kleytman is a multidisciplinary artist from Kharkiv. In 2021, along with Nikita Kadan and Bogdana Kosmina, she founded the curatorial group Wet Hole and the Dzherelo Art Pavilion, a 24/7 public art space. Using farce and derision (as is often the case in her work) to challenge gender, sexuality and norms, it’s an extraordinary tale that’s whispered to us. In a game of twisting, shifting archetypes, the artist humorously reminds us that the body, like its images, are first and foremost political objects. (N.F.)
