A school teacher, a teenager, the figure of an “elderly person”, in short a small set of characters. Yet many voices commingle, talk to one another – they aim at nothing less than referring to an entire country: Poland today. As a political fable on nationalistic concerns, Agata Lopko wonderfully knows how to go beyond the borders and it is a shifting film landscape, full of surprises, emotions and beauties, that is courageously offered as an antidote against closure.
