Here and Now, Here and Now

Here and now, Thomas Carillon films musician Avreeayl Ra for the second time in this film to be discovered in Marseille. He performs, in the musical sense of the word, what he has felt when working closely with the improviser in Chicago. The first film was a sketched portrait, with the percussionist taking centre stage,  but this time he is among other musicians. A group of soloists combining and sharing their music. Here, the gap between the plural and the singular must be highlighted. The director wants to capture that paradox.
