Launched in May 2026, the ‘An Hour with…’ programme, organised by the Litterallea association, offers a chance to engage with leading figures from the worlds of culture, science and society. This series of events brings together people from Germany, France and across Europe to discuss shared themes.
Meeting with Alexandra Badea
Alexandra Badea is an author, theatre director and film director born in Romania, who has been living and working in France since 2003. Her work, which straddles the worlds of theatre, fiction, radio and film, explores the links between personal journeys and major contemporary issues: globalisation, work, memory, history, identity and transmission. Her works include Pulvérisés, which won the Grand Prix de littérature dramatique in 2013, the Points de non-retour trilogy, the novel Tu marches au bord du monde and the play Exil, which premiered at the National Theatre in Bucharest. In 2023, Alexandra Badea was awarded the Académie Française’s Theatre Prize for her entire body of dramatic work.
