What a pleasure it is to welcome so many of you to the cinemas, eager to chat with the filmmakers and to fully immerse yourselves in the festival’s events, from morning till night. Buoyed by steadily growing attendance, this 37th edition celebrated free and surprising cinema, rich in its diversity, unbound by format or label.
