In 2023, FIDMarseille is launching a new project and partnership with L’Atelier des artistes en exil – Marseille. A group of Russian, Ukrainian, Palestinian and Iranian filmmakers living in exile will select 8 films from the films in competition during the festival, which will be screened in Marseilles between September 2023 and April 2024 in the presence of the directors. These screenings will form part of the CinéFID catalogue and will be moderated by artists in exile.
