First short film, Brownish Green (2024), is set on a small island in southern Korea in the 1970s and is a fiction based on her mother’s childhood. The work begins from women’s everyday lives, moments when the body reacts before thought, gestures, habits, instinctive resistance. It looks at how what remains in the body, unspoken, carries across generations into the present.
