In her turbulent thirties, Amel struggles with loneliness and despair, her chaotic apartment mirroring her inner state. Torn between disillusionment and memories of her past, her despair drives her toward a dark decision, reflecting her profound need to be understood and accepted.

Imen Ghazouani

Multidisciplinary Tunisian artist and storyteller, working at the crossroads of science, theater, and cinema. After graduating with a degree in Chemistry in 2013, she began her formal artistic training in 2016 at the National Theatre of Tunisia’s Actor School under the direction of Fadhel Jaïbi. She later attended ESAC (University of Carthage), where she deepened her expertise in writing, directing, and assistant directing.

A 2024 recipient of the CREDIF Prize and an award-winner in both photography and cinema, she has developed a visual and performative practice enriched by international collaborations, such as Beyond Borders (Tunisia–Italy) and Les Consultations poétiques (Tunisia–France). Her work explores memory, identity, and one’s presence in the world with a sensibility that is simultaneously poetic and rigorous.
