A ventriloquist and his puppet, monumental memorial sculptures rising from the ground: based on these elements, Ahmad Ghossein conducts an inquiry. His inves- tigation will cross paths with animals and horsemen from out of the past. He will travel through Southern Lebanon’s landscape, undergoing a radical transformation, here both a setting and the object of his research, while questions keep popping up: what is popular imagination made of?
