Scream Queens, Scream Queens

The principle of an audition is simple: a series of candidates come to perform what is expected of them. Either a text, a song or an action; many film scenes have dealt with such auditions. With Ariane Yadan, female candidates are auditioning for a scream. The set is made of a column, a floor, a background curtain, all of them black. On a human scale, the editing diminishes camera moves. Nothing comes to limit the repetition of an unrestrained eructation. (GG)
