An electric guitar, a powerful amp, the desert, a pick-up truck driving at full speed and an ear-splitting noise. This is the crash of a Solid Body being dragged on the ground: the ground of Texas, where racism is thriving. This unbearable scream is both an evocation and a response to the lynching of an Afro-American man who was murdered in this place and dragged behind a truck. (NF)Christian Marclay
