The chronicles filmed near Stuttgart by Manuel Ferrari during his stay at the Akademie Schloß Solitude as part of an artist-in-residence programme go hand in hand with an hesitating pianist, who seems fascinated by some kind of inner listening and puts his performance on stand-by. Framing variations succeed one another freely as we approach the place, to finally stick to a precision invading each and every space. Letting the experience run its course without restraint, from improvisation to writing, the film shows the strangeness of voluntary disorientation.
