Toquei Todas As Suas Coisas, Toquei Todas As Suas Coisas

Imprisoned in Brazil for drug trafficking, Chris Kirk, a bright-eyed and rather handsome U.S. citizen, sits before us in orange prison-inmate garb. However, it is not the saga of his problems with the law that will be revealed. Instead, we become the rapidly-hooked recipients of a love story and its curious twists and turns. Chris is infatuated with V., a Japanese-Colombian woman who will give him (and us) a hard time. In this film the directing duo extol the power of narrative and various means of contrivance. Will we find out the truth? Will we ultimately discover the real faces of the protagonists? First, let’s watch and listen. (JPR) Matias Mariani Maíra Bühler
