FIDCampus is a training program for international students from art schools and partner universities. Each year, from ten to fifteen filmmakers, selected on the basis of their last film and their motivation, are invited to take part in a 10-day residency during FIDMarseille.

They start the week with a two-day tutorship and group discussions around their films, led by professionals (directors, DoPs, editors, sound engineers), and continue with an intense programme of screenings, masterclasses and professional meetings organized by them. They are also invited to attend the presentations of FIDLab – i.e. FIDMarseille coproduction platform.

More than one hundred of young filmmakers have already taken part in FIDCampus, coming from Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Morocco, Portugal, Qatar, Serbia, Spain, Taiwan, Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.

During the previous editions, the participants had interventions by professionals such as Kamal Aljafari, Raed Andoni, Claire Atherton, Dominique Auvray, Nicolas Becker, Caroline Champetier, Yann Dedet, Miguel Gomès, Khalil Joreige, Valérie Jouve, Payal Kapadia, Oliver Laxe, Raphaël Lefèvre, Diego Marcon, Narimane Mari, Karim Moussaoui, Alice Rohrwacher, Ghassan Salhab, Stefano Savona, Rania Stephan, Graham Swon, Marie Voignier and Phillip Warnell.
