To kick off this 36th edition of the festival, which runs from 8 to 13 July, we invite you to join us on Tuesday 8 July at 9pm, in the exceptional setting of the Théâtre Silvain! Preview screening of Kontinental ‘25 in the presence of Radu Jude and Eszter Tompa. Free admission.

For its 36th edition, FIDMarseille remains true to its mission: to spotlight independent cinema that is attentive to the echoes of the contemporary world and to the stories that reveal its fractures, both intimate and collective.

Join us at the Petit Théâtre, at Friche la Belle de Mai, right after the closing film of the festival to keep the party going until dawn.

On the programme: a fiery DJ set by artists DouceSœur and Detect, the festival’s vibrant energy on the dancefloor and all the festival teams coming together to celebrate.

DouceSœur is a bad-ass Caribbean high femme, part mermaid, part twerk queen, holding it down in Marseille. She knows that you’ve had a sick night out when you’ve let go of all your daily stresses by getting down to some ‘back it up’ and twerking.

Detect draws inspiration from countless musical styles, with a passion for underground countercultures – from UK Grime to Memphis rap, via Dubstep and contemporary Mediterranean Bass Music.
