Après 20 ans de voyage à travers l’Amérique latine, un ethnographe franco-suisse disparaît de la carte. À travers des carnets de voyage de différents ethnographes et des archives cinématographiques non fictionnelles, l’auteur imagine et construit un journal de voyage de l’ethnographe inconnu et incognito des années 1950 et 1970, témoignage de la transformation industrielle, de l’évangélisation et de l’ethnocide des communautés d’Amérique latine.
