In the suburbs of Lisbon, the Cape Verdean neighborhood of Fontainhas is almost entirely destroyed. Ventura, a former construction worker, wanders among the remnants of the past and the new housing projects. Every young person he meets becomes his child.

FIDMarseille and the Festival d’Avignon invite the Portuguese filmmaker for a screening followed by a conversation about his film Juventude em Marcha (2006), held at the Collection Lambert.
