Un album photo retrace le parcours du 6e Régiment de l’armée roumaine en 1941-42, lorsque la Roumanie était alliée à l’Allemagne nazie. Confrontées aux sources historiques, ces banales images du quotidien militaire sont rendues à leur terrible contexte.

Formé dans la Roumanie post-communiste/néo-capitaliste, Radu Jude réalise depuis son premier long métrage une œuvre unique par son explosive et corrosive inventivité. Il est l’invité de la 36e édition pour une rétrospective inédite en 17 films, dont une large sélection de ses essais et courts métrages.
