A screening echoing the show LEVIATHAN
Directed by Lorraine de Sagazan and Guillaume Poix
Paris, Spring 2003. Raymond Depardon was granted exceptional permission to film the proceedings of the 10th Criminal Court of Paris.
From routine summons for drunk driving to overnight custody hearings, the film immerses us in the day-to-day workings of the court: twelve cases, twelve stories of men and women who, one day, found themselves face to face with justice.
Filming with remarkable restraint, Depardon creates a masterpiece of observation filled with humanity.
