New York, 1960s. Helen (Kitty Winn), alone and distraught, wanders through the city’s poor neighborhoods. When she meets Bobby (Al Pacino), she regains her zest for life. But the young man is a heroin addict. At his side, she discovers the dark world of Needle Park, a hub for drug trafficking. For the young couple, it’s a descent into hell.
