Forest landscapes, impressive heavy rain, then a clearing where a woman in black walks and answers questions in a long filmed interview. “Yes” or “No” says the laconic woman, suddenly reminding us of a scene from a Godard film. It makes senses, since Waldszenen reproduces a sequence from One + One, and the invocation of the devil in Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Tropical Malady. Why doing it again?
