PERSISTENCIA

In the Antartic, some men are busy. Some seem to be carrying out scientific exper- iments, the goal of which we’ll never discover. Another man, alone, is placing some sculptures in front of some natural spots. Akin to sitting human silhouettes but with hollow shells, he is taking pictures of them, in a state of contemplation and listening to nature. In the wind, the ice and the snow, these rituals gradually come to resonate in unison. (NF)Fernando Mieles Peña
