When camels become lions. Four episodes about a metamorphosis, four characters – Vincent, Renée, Alice and Robin – with their loved ones at a watershed moment in their lives, trying to find their place and freedom again. Lydia Rigaux’s first fiction film contrasts waiting with action, silences with long monologues, off- camera shots with bright lights. Will the useless beast of burden lost in a desert landscape manage to roar in its new territory?
