Ceremony

A couple goes on holiday to Andalusia, basks in the sun, bathes in springs, follows religious processions, walks in the Spanish deserts. That’s all, but actually that’s a lot, because Chloé Bourgès’ self-produced film shows tremendous attention to bodies: their presence, their closeness, their weight even, all of which gives Ceremony a true sense of choreography: bodies speak to each other as much and even more than words do.
