Graham Swon was born in Oxnard, California. He studied theatre and philosophy at Carnegie Mellon University, then for a decade he worked as a film distributor at companies such as the Cinema Guild and Kino Lorber. As a producer he has worked with many independent filmmakers, including Matías Piñeiro Ted Fendt, and Ricky D’Ambrose. His first feature as a writer-director was the experimental horror film The World is Full of Secrets (2018). He is currently in pre-production on his second feature, entitled An Evening Song (for three voices). He was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” in 2016.
