“Their hairstyles, gaits, dance steps, movements, face tattoos all testify to an ancient magical world.”

Pasolini takes notes with his camera, whilst looking for locations in Africa for his adaptation of Aeschylus’ Oresteia. He carries on looking in Rome where he interviews African students about the images he has collected.
